Continued Humanitarian Assitance for those in Needs in 2024

In 2024, our organization continued its commitment to providing comprehensive humanitarian assistance to Internally Displaced people affected by ongoing displacement and limited access to basic services. This year’s intervention mainly focused on emergency water supply, shelter support, and essential relief support for vulnerable households in Southern Shan State, Myanmar. These projects were also supported and funded by Burmese Relief Center JAPAN (BRCJ).

Throughout 2024, we were able to distribute 739 sacks of rice and 480 liters of cooking oil to a total of 2281 displaced families facing food insecurity. Shelter conditions were reinforced through the provision of 227 tarpaulin sheets, which supported both temporary housing structures and lined water reservoirs. Additionally, 225 pieces of warm clothing were distributed to vulnerable individuals to enhance protection against changing weather conditions.

To address critical water shortages, 61 trucks of emergency water were delivered to IDP communities, ensuring reliable access to safe drinking water for household use. Furthermore, a solar power system was installed to support field project operations, improving operational sustainability and enabling more efficient delivery of humanitarian services in remote areas.
